What type of courses do you offer?
We offer American Heart Association (AHA) courses for small and large groups. This includes training for healthcare professionals as well as non-healthcare persons. Basic Life Support (BLS), Heart Saver and Heart Code CPR courses. Heart Code courses are blended with both online learning and in person skills testing. We offer onsite courses for your convenience.
What will I learn in a course?
Trainees will learn the proper techniques on state of the art manikins with directive feedback to guide both compression depth and rate. You will learn how to use an AED and first aid response. We instruct in adult, child and infant CPR. Courses are four hours long.
What type of equipment do you use and how is the equipment kept safe?
We use American Heart Association (AHA) compliant manikins that give directive feedback for the trainee. All equipment is sanitized with a hospital grade disinfectant after each use.
How am I kept safe?
All trainees are required to wear a mask and will be distanced from other trainees for the entire course. Each trainee uses their assigned manikin for the duration of the course (there is no sharing). We take the current pandemic situation seriously. Each trainee will be required to fill out a Covid questionnaire, temperature scan at the start of class. Hand sanitizer will be available.
What is the cost of a course?
Courses are $90.00 per person. Provider manuals are mandatory for the course and are an additional cost. There is a four person minimum. We do extend a courtesy for groups of 12 or more persons.
